Prague exhibition center in the colors of Route 66
The European Route 66 festival is of course this year's biggest meeting of Route 66 fans on our old continent, but it will also - and most importantly - take place here in Prague. After the end of this year's hockey championship, it promises that a similar atmosphere and enthusiasm could be achieved at the event at the Holešovice exhibition grounds :)
There are almost two and a half months left until the festival, but I realize that it is necessary to start talking about it as soon as possible. Right now actually.
Thus, the European festival Route 66 takes place together with the popular Prague Harley Days and Smoke and fire Fest. Together, all three events are presented under the name All American Fest.
All American Fest will take place from August 30 to September 1 in the entire area of the Exhibition Center in Prague - Holešovice.
The entire event - and this is important for us roadies - and I would even say essential - will be organized in the style of Route 66, which will correspond to the overall graphic concept of the entire area. So, while passing through the fairgrounds, you will be able to stop at ten stands, reminiscent of ten prominent places on the American 66th.
The Route 66 European Festival itself will have two presentation locations – indoor and outdoor.
The interior space will be Pavilion B, where an exhibition will be installed, mapping Czech tracks on Route 66 since 1998. Together with the exhibition, a large presentation of historic motorcycles will be located here. In Pavilion B, visitors will be able to view the famous and very valuable Blue Angel, or Chevrolet Bel-Air from 1957. This beautiful piece is a legendary Route 66 car that has criss-crossed many times.
Pavilion B will also house the presentation stands of the American and European Route 66 associations, where you can not only get valuable materials and promotional items, but also meet famous Route 66 personalities and foreign fans.
In the premises of Pavilion B, time and space will be reserved for discussions, lectures, presentations, which is an extraordinary opportunity for those who are interested in learning more about the old American Route 66.
We will also not forget the screening of thematically oriented films.
